Thanks to my NYC boys MICK BOOGIE, TERRY URBAN, MATT HECKMAN and the entire EXTRA BUTTER crew, I was initiated into the NYC DJ scene with my very own party – aptly titled Motivation Of A Sneaker Freaker. In all the excitement of finally being in the Empire State (and yes, singing the shit outta that song til my tonsils tore up) I completely forgot my camera – altho the CHEKI made it for the trip – You can see some of the drunken shenanigans HERE! Last year I pulled the trigger on a HELLO KITTY CHEKI Polaroid camera from eGay and after taking over 200 photos in less than 30 days, I came home to find my DJ wall dépeçaged to the max courtesy of one lovely chaaarrken. Every house I live in I have a DJ wall which pretty much is a slab of inspiration that I get lost in while making mixes or testing out new blends. This by far has to be the best inspiration wall I’ve ever had. And note, this is about a quarter of the whole shebang. Filled to the brim with all my favourite people, you’ll be seeing way more CHEKI pics on HERE soon!
