And the beat goes on! CARBON literally took over Melbourne this past weekend – and it all started with a mad launch party at Fed Square’s Atrium on Friday night. All the guest speakers were there in effect, mingling with the locals, from FUTURA, BOBBY HUNDREDS, FRANK LIEW, CHOOEE and of course all the peeps that made it possible, the ACCLAIM crew. These guys went above and beyond to make sure the whole festival ran smooth. And what an epic job!!! Anyhoo..after speaking with Danny Boy from House Of Pain on twitter, the HOP fellas rolled deep to Carbon also, connecting with their international fam. A crazy night, with plenty of pizza, booze and of course RED BULL!!! Peep all the pics after the jump
A once in a lifetime moment..we all had a front row seat at FUTURA’S live art show at Carbon this weekend. Futura aka Lenny was in town to speak at Carbon, but kindly donated his time and skills to close the event with an all out graff battle with the local Ironlak guys. He’s indeed a massive tripper with talent oozing out of every pore. I was honoured to meet him and feel blessed to have been in his presence…a massive deal indeed! This past weekend my crew SNEAKERFREAKER threw our annual sneaker swap meet at Fed Square in the city. The event was part of the epic CARBON festival, so speakers BOBBY HUNDREDS, FRANK LIEW, FUTURA, NOAH CALLAHAN-BEVER, CHOOEE and more were also in attendance. I have finally succumbed and started my own TUMBLR. I just pulled the trigger on a Canon 5D MKII, so it was a no brainer to start a blog dedicated to my favourite snaps. I’ll be uploading random shots I’ve snapped that I love or strike a cord or pretty much explain how I’m feeling at the time. Expect loads of cats, sneakers and food haha!
