I am SUPER STOKED to be spinning at this year’s prestigious Tatts Cox Plate Day for Nova FM come Oct 22nd. I’ve never been to the races before and often laughed at my mates who would do anything in their powers to get a ticket to these events. I guess it’s because deep down the thought of wearing a frock and wacky hat has never really excited me. But being paid to spin and be myself, that’s a different kettle o’ fish. For $325 you get to hear my jams as well as all inclusive beverages, menu and buffet, outdoor seating, big screen to watch the race and more! This is going to be absolutely crackers!!! Now, all I have to worry about is what the feck to wear!!!

And the beat goes on! CARBON literally took over Melbourne this past weekend – and it all started with a mad launch party at Fed Square’s Atrium on Friday night. All the guest speakers were there in effect, mingling with the locals, from FUTURA, BOBBY HUNDREDS, FRANK LIEW, CHOOEE and of course all the peeps that made it possible, the ACCLAIM crew. These guys went above and beyond to make sure the whole festival ran smooth. And what an epic job!!! Anyhoo..after speaking with Danny Boy from House Of Pain on twitter, the HOP fellas rolled deep to Carbon also, connecting with their international fam. A once in a lifetime moment..we all had a front row seat at FUTURA’S live art show at Carbon this weekend. Futura aka Lenny was in town to speak at Carbon, but kindly donated his time and skills to close the event with an all out graff battle with the local Ironlak guys. He’s indeed a massive tripper with talent oozing out of every pore. I was honoured to meet him and feel blessed to have been in his presence…a massive deal indeed! This past weekend my crew SNEAKERFREAKER threw our annual sneaker swap meet at Fed Square in the city. The event was part of the epic CARBON festival, so speakers BOBBY HUNDREDS, FRANK LIEW, FUTURA, NOAH CALLAHAN-BEVER, CHOOEE and more were also in attendance. Next Sunday I will have the honour of DJng at the Channel 10 Logies After Party at Crown Towers. I’m pretty stoked to be asked to tell you the truth. If I meet Toadie or Harold from Neighbours it’s all over. I can only imagine, after having been an actor myself many moons ago, what tomfoolery the celebs will get up to, but this has made my mum so proud, and that in turn has me mega stoked! This Good Friday it goes down at HOOCHIE MAMA with a one off Friday night special. With Lick going down tonight, we postponed your usual Thursday night goodness for the Good Thanks Friday, so make sure to pop into ALIA if you’re in Collingwood from 7pm til 11pm. Tomorrow night I’ll be hitting the pokies and blackjack tables while spinnin a healthy dose of rnb, hip hop party jams at CROWN CASINO! JACKPOT. I’ll be headlining the show at Co. from 12-2am, giving the guys and dolls something even sweeter to bet on – a fuckin good time. I’m totally amped to get down and see what’s crackalaking at the Cas, having played at Co. for Big Dog’s Day Dream Festival last year.
